You wont be eaten alive or pused to do anything against your will at any of the events and parties. In smaller clubs or of you get introduced to the organiser it is often good to go to explicitly tell them that you are new and don't really know the rules as to how to behave.
Most of the time you will get tips and explanations, or of the organiser doesn't have time himself, he will introduce you to people who can tell you more. Sorry, but no.
