We had opportunity to visit Mogadishu. Out trip was organized by Omar and his team from Visit Mogadishu. Everything went smooth. Highly recommend them. Hope to come back and visit again. Somalia Proper has been the Holy Grail for adventurous travelers. About a year ago I started looking for ways and means to get to Somalia independently, however, overwhelming evidence suggested that a tour with a security team is a must in order to travel to Thank you Visit Mogadishu for a wonderful visit.

The Visa you can Despite all the security and logistic problems well resolved by Omar and his team it was a great and special experience This was my second visit to Somalia organised with Omar of Visit Mogadishu. My first trip in was only to Mogadishu and was incredible very memorable experience. On my second trip I wished to visit Somalia more extensively. This time I visited Garowe in I went with a couple of other guys From the profile picture on Visit Mogadishu to visit Mogadishu and we were left in the safe hands of Omar and his team.
When we arrived we were taken through immigration and was meet there by Omar Had a fantastic time with Visit Mogadishu, they were excellent and would highly recommend them. Somalia has so much to offer and as a female I was warmly welcomed. The team was very professional and accommodating to slight alterations to our itinerary. I visited Mogadishu in May I thought visiting Somalia would be next to impossible due to safety issues.
However, from the moment I was picked up from the airport, it didn't feel that dangerous anymore thanks to Visit Mogadishu. They know very well where Omar and Ahmed do a incredible job if you want to visit the real Somalia outside the secure airport zone. They are very friendly and eager to show you the best of their country.
